Australia has voted with UK band Glass Animals taking the top spot with their hit Heat Waves. In a big year for the band, this was their third song making the Hottest 100.
Heat Waves has been extremely popular, really resonating with an audience in various states of lockdown. Their music video, described by themselves as “a love letter to live music and the culture and togetherness surrounding it” was filmed during lockdown and has been viewed over 8 million times on YouTube.
Now just to wait and see if they come through with their promise to tattoo a map of Australia on their butts.
